To choose how the Project Find panel lists its search results, choose Edit > Preferences, choose Find from the pop-up menu at the top of the dialog box, and adjust the "Order results by type (vs location)" option.

Shortcuts for Finding a Class, Method, Function, or Variable

To search for code that references an identifier that appears in an editor window:

• Select the identifier, and choose Tools > Project Find > Find References.

To search for code that defines or declares an identifier that appears in an editor window:

• Option-double-click the identifier's name.
